I'm currently a fifth year graduate student in the Microbiology & Molecular Genetics Program at Rutgers University working on my doctoral degree studying the microbiology of deep-sea hydrothermal vents. I have been on three science research expeditions aboard the R/V Atlantis to a hydrothermal vent site in the Eastern Pacific Ocean and have had the oppotunity to be on two dives in the DSV Alvin.

My interests include archaeology, exobiology, and photography. I enjoy reading scifi, fantasy, and historical murder mysteries and listening to world, medieval, and filk music. Hope to update and expand this soon with links to other places. Till then enjoy the pictures.
